Right of free resolution
Under the terms of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14, the consumer has the right to freely withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days, without having to give any reason. The period for exercising the right of withdrawal expires 14 days from the day following the day on which you acquire or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the good(s).
In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us, via our contacts, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. letter sent by post or email or the form below). You can use the model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory. You also have the option of filling in and submitting the standard withdrawal form or any other clear statement of withdrawal electronically via our website https://www.manelsport.com. If you make use of this option, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal request by email within 24 hours (working days) and instantly if you use the form while logged in as a customer. For the withdrawal period to be respected, it is sufficient that your communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal is sent before the withdrawal period expires.
Effects of free resolution
In the event of termination of this contract, you will be refunded all payments made, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a shipping method other than the least expensive standard shipping method offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to terminate this contract. We make such refunds using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise; in any event, you do not incur any costs as a result of such refund.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods, or until you provide proof that the goods have been sent, whichever comes first.
You must return the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us that you have withdrawn from the contract. The deadline is deemed to have been met if you return the goods before the expiry of the 14-day period.
You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You are only liable for depreciation of the goods resulting from handling that exceeds what is necessary to verify the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
